Parallel as an AdsPower alternative

AdsPower is the best-known antidetect browser, and for a lot of people it is a perfectly good answer. This page is the honest version of the comparison: what each costs, where Parallel is genuinely better, and where AdsPower is still the safer choice.

What each costs

AdsPower's figures below are from their public pricing page, at the entry point of each paid plan, checked 23 September 2026. Both products discount an annual term; the monthly figure is the honest one to compare because it is what you pay to start.

Competitor pricing changes and a comparison without a date on it quietly becomes wrong. If you are reading this long after that date, check their pricing page before deciding anything.

The number that actually matters

Comparing plan prices hides the thing you are really buying, which is profiles. Divide one by the other and the gap is wider than the headline suggests:

PlanProfilesCost per profile / month
AdsPower, entry10$0.90
Parallel Starter25$0.32
Parallel Pro100$0.29
Parallel Scale500$0.16

If you run more than a handful of accounts, that ratio is the whole decision. Twenty-five profiles on Parallel costs less per month than ten on AdsPower.

Team seats

Both products let a paying account create logins for other people and control what each can reach. AdsPower prices members as a separate axis on top of the plan. Parallel includes five members on any paid plan — each with their own email and password, each granted access by group or by individual profile, and each optionally read-only so they can run the accounts you assign without changing anything.

Removing someone deletes their login and nothing else: the profiles stay in your workspace, because they always belonged to the account rather than to the person.

What is the same

It would be dishonest to pretend the feature lists are far apart. Both give every profile an isolated browser with its own coherent fingerprint, its own cookies and storage, and its own proxy. Both sync profiles and logged-in sessions between machines, with a lock so the same profile is never open in two places at once.

Both do bulk profile creation, groups and tags, cookie import in the formats people actually have, several platform accounts per profile with saved logins, your own extensions loaded per profile, no-code automation with scheduling, a local API for driving profiles from your own code, team members with roles and per-person access, a recoverable trash, and syncing your actions across several open windows at once. Handing a profile to another account works on both — ours encrypts it to the recipient before it leaves your machine, so nothing readable passes through our servers.

If you want to check the fingerprinting claims rather than take anyone's word, our free fingerprint test shows what any browser is currently leaking — including AdsPower's, or your everyday Chrome.

Three things we do differently

When AdsPower is the better choice

Three cases, plainly:

Moving your profiles across

Sessions move with cookies. Export the cookies from a profile in your current browser — the common Cookie-Editor and EditThisCookie formats both work — and import them into a Parallel profile from its editor. The account stays signed in; you are not logging in to everything again.

Start with one profile rather than all of them. Import it, open it, and check the account is still signed in and behaving before you move the rest.

Three profiles free, no card

Enough to run a real test rather than a demo. If it works, Starter is $8/month for twenty-five.
